To elaborate these recipes we are going to start from the previous recipe. Although you can choose any other dough recipe that you like. Or even buy the dough already made. Although the result will not be the same, you will also get a very good pizza, in addition, it will take less time to have your vegetarian pizza ready.
So, starting from this pizza dough recipe, let’s start these recipes at point 4. When you have the dough already stretched with the shape on the oven tray. At that point, we will start any of these five vegetarian pizza recipes.
You will have a delicious pizza dinner with homemade dough.
5 Vegetarian Pizza Recipes
It is not necessary that to elaborate these recipes we have to make our homemade dough. You can also follow these recipes on an already purchased dough if you are pressed for time or lazy (we have all been there). Although it will not be the same result, a pizza is always a pizza, and it will still be more homemade and cheaper than if you go to Glovo.
Let’s go with our 5 Vegetarian Pizza recipes.
WARNING: Before starting the pizza of your choice, remember to turn on the oven to start preheating it. The preparation of these pizzas is very simple so it won’t take you more than 5-10 minutes to start baking.
1 Four cheese pizza
250 g. Mozzarella cheese
100 g. grated parmesan cheese
100 g. blue cheese
50 g. goat’s cheese curl
On the dough that we had previously prepared, we add fried tomato, grated cheese and we place the four cheeses that we like the most.
In this case I have chosen mozzarella, parmesan, blue cheese and goat cheese, but you can combine them as you like. Other options are: ricotta, cheddar, brie, Roquefort….
Depending on your taste, any combination will be very good.
Finish the recipe by baking as in the original recipe, about 8-10 minutes at 200ºC or 220ºC if it is fan baked. Once ready, sprinkle with a little oregano and, if you like, with a little pepper.
Your 4 cheese pizza is ready! Completely homemade and handmade.
2 Spinach pizza
200 g. ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons of milk
50 g. of spinach (already cooked)
50 g. feta cheese
2 teaspoons of pine nuts
Salt and pepper
We start by mixing well the ricotta with the milk, salt and pepper. On this occasion, this will be our sauce for the pizza (no tomato in the base).
Spread the previous sauce on the pizza dough, covering homogeneously all the dough, and cover with the spinach and the diced feta cheese. Add the pine nuts and bake in the oven.
In this case, we will bake for 15 minutes, at 200ºC without fan (you know, if your oven has a fan, at 220ºC).
3 Vegetarian pizza ideas: Vegetable pizza
200 g grated mozzarella (for pizzas)
1/2 bell pepper (green or red, as you like)
Start by covering the dough with fried tomato. Now add the grated mozzarella and add the bell pepper and onion cut into julienne strips, and the eggplant and mushrooms cut into slices.
Finish the pizza baking as we did in the original recipe: 8 to 10 minutes at 200ºC, and sprinkle a little oregano and….
Ready to eat!
NOTE: You can try changing the eggplant for sliced tomatoes, you will love it for sure!
4 Mushroom pizza
250 g varied mushrooms (mushrooms, oyster, oyster mushrooms, poplar mushrooms…)
1 spring onion
Sliced mozzarella cheese
We cover the homemade pizza dough with fried tomato and grated cheese. Once we have added the tomato and the cheese we are going to cover the dough with the mushrooms cut in slices, the mozzarella, also in slices and the spring onion in julienne (remember, in thin strips).
To finish off your pizza sprinkle a little more grated cheese on top and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, 200ºC.
5 Basil Pizza
Pitted black olives
As you can see the recipes are very similar, as in the previous recipes, we will start by covering with fried tomato and grated cheese our pizza dough.
Add the halved cherrys and black olives, sliced mushrooms and basil, and bake.
Bake, for 8-10 minutes, at 200ºC.
(If you like melted cheese, try adding sliced mozzarella to this recipe. Great!)
Oh, sprinkle a little oregano on top before serving.
