Sautéed Pork Tenderloin with Vegetables
To elaborate this recipe we can use as many vegetables as we want. Our favorites to make the sautéed meat are carrots, onion, green beans, bell bell pepper and mushrooms. But, as we said, you can opt for many others, depending on your tastes.
Regarding the meat, we are going to use pork loin steaks. A tasty meat very easy to prepare and that combines great with this sautéed dish. But you can use the meat you prefer and make your stir-fry with beef, chicken, turkey… With whatever you prefer.
To make the tenderloin stir-fry with vegetables first we are going to prepare all the ingredients. The meat, we will cut it into bite size pieces, but elongated. And we will chop the vegetables in julienne.
In a frying pan, we put a drizzle of oil and, when it is hot, we cook the meat in pieces. At this point, we can give more flavor to the meat by adding a little soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce. Once the meat is to taste we reserve.
Regarding the vegetables, we will cook them in the same way. In the same pan as the meat and with high heat. When the vegetables are ready, add the meat and let it cook for a few minutes. Now we can serve this light and healthy sautéed pork loin with vegetables. Let’s see how to do it step by step.
Sauteed Pork Tenderloin with Vegetables
Ingredients
- 300 g Pork Loin in fillets
- 1 Green or Red Pepper of your choice
- 1 Onion
- 3 Carrots
- 150 g Green Beans
- 100 g Mushrooms
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Let's start by making the pork loin. First we will cut it into bite size pieces, elongated. In a frying pan we put a drizzle of oil and, when it is hot, we incorporate the fillets.Season with salt and pepper and cook to taste. Set aside.
- We continue with the vegetables. First we cook the green beans for a few minutes. Remove the lateral strand and cut them in bite size portions. In a pot with water, cook them for about 10 – 15 minutes, until they are tender. Set aside.
- In the same frying pan where we made the meat, add again a drizzle of oil and, when it is hot, cook the onion cut in julienne. When it starts to become transparent we also add the bell pepper, the carrot, the green beans and the mushrooms. Fry over medium high heat for a few minutes.
- When the vegetables are ready, add the meat and cook everything together for a few minutes. Serve hot.
