We begin by frosting the glasses. With a small piece of lime, we moisten the edges of the glasses, slightly. In a plate, put enough salt according to the diameter of the mouth of the glass, and press lightly on the salt. So that you get a thin line of salt on the rim of the glass.
50 ml Lime juice, Salt
Squeeze the lime and, if you prefer, strain the juice, although it is not necessary.
50 ml Lime juice
Put some ice cubes in the shaker, add the lime juice, tequila and cointreau. Close the shaker tightly and shake vigorously. Serve the mixture in the glasses that we had previously decorated, with a few more ice cubes.
100 ml Tequila, 50 ml Cointreau, Ice, 50 ml Lime juice
Notes
NOTE: The ideal way to make this cocktail is to use a cocktail shaker to mix all the ingredients well, but if you don't have one, you can always use an airtight jar.
