- 2 Sea bream
- 3 Potatoes
- 1 Onion
- 1 Glass of white wine
- 2 Lemons
- 4 Garlic cloves
- Parsley
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Let's start by peeling the potatoes and the onion. Once peeled, we cut them into slices. In a wide pot we put enough oil to fry them. When it is hot, fry the potatoes and onion over medium heat for about 15 minutes, until they are soft. Once ready, remove them to a plate with absorbent kitchen paper, to remove the excess oil. Place them in the oven tray.
On the potatoes we put the loins of the gilthead bream, skin side down.Meanwhile we are going to prepare the majao. Peel the garlic and put them in the mortar, together with the chopped parsley and the juice of a lemon. Crush well. We paint the gilthead bream with this mixture and season both the gilthead bream and the potatoes with salt and pepper. On the sea bream loins we put a slice of lemon. Add the glass of white wine.
Now we only have to bake, with the oven preheated to 180ºC, for about 15 minutes approx. It is not necessary to cook the gilthead bream too much, because they would be very dry. After that time, check that they are ready and serve a sea bream loin and a few potatoes with onion.
