Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog Recipe

Hot Dogs are a very useful food for when we don’t have much time or we feel like indulging ourselves. This time we are going to see a very complete recipe, the recipe for Hot Dog Wrapped in Bacon.

The Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog, also known as “Danger Dog”, literally dangerous dog; this recipe consists of wrapping the sausage in a slice of bacon. It is very common to find it in street food stands in the United States, especially in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog Recipe

You will see that this recipe is simpler than it looks. Simply toast the bread lightly in a frying pan or toaster and set aside.
To make the sausages, we are going to wrap them with a strip of bacon each. We hold the ends with wooden sticks so that they do not come loose while we cook them. When they are ready, remove the toothpicks and serve with mustard, ketchup and fried onion.

2 Dog Bread
2 Sausages
2 Bacon Strips
Ketchup
Mustard
Fried Onions

Instructions

In a frying pan, we begin by lightly browning the dog bread on the inner sides. When they are ready, with a paper towel, remove the crumbs that may have fallen from the pan.
Continue preparing the sausages. Wrap them well in a strip of bacon, fix the bacon with some toothpicks to the sausage so that it does not move while we cook them.
In the frying pan, add a drizzle of oil, covering the surface and, when it is hot, over medium heat cook the sausages and bacon, until golden brown. About 10 minutes.
Once ready, place them on the bun, add sauces to taste (such as ketchup and mustard) and top with a little fried onion.
Your Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog is ready.
