- 2/3 Cup Tomato juice
- 1/4 Cup Vodka
- 2 Tbsp Lemon juice
- 2-3 drops Perrins sauce
- 1-2 drops tabasco (depending on how spicy you want it)
- 1 pinch salt
- Pepper
- Ice
- 1-2 celery sticks
For this cocktail a cocktail shaker is not necessary, since we will mix it gently with a spoon, nothing to shake it abruptly. You can use a large pitcher or glass, to mix it comfortably, like the one in the image.
In a mixing glass add the ice (about 3/4 of the capacity of our mixing glass). Add the vodka and tomato juice and mix lightly with a spoon.Squeeze the lemon juice (being careful not to get the seeds), add a few drops of Perrins sauce, salt and pepper. 2/3 Cup Tomato juice, 1/4 Cup Vodka, 2 Tbsp Lemon juice, 2-3 drops Perrins sauce, 1 pinch salt, Pepper, Ice
To finish our Bloody Mary, add the Tabasco (try not to overdo it, because if it is too spicy, you will not be able to rectify), and continue stirring lightly with the spoon. Before serving be sure to taste it, in case you have to correct the salt or if you want it a little spicier. To finish our cocktail, serve your Bloody Mary in tall glasses, without pouring the ice, garnish with the slice of lemon and a sprig of celery. 1-2 drops tabasco, 1-2 celery sticks
NOTE: The ingredients are for one cup, so multiply by the number of people you are if you have visitors.
For the presentation:
We take the glass and moisten the rim with lime juice, then we will put the rim of the glass on a plate in which we have previously added a little coarse salt, so that it sticks to the rim of the glass. We can also add a slice of lime on the rim of the glass. Once served in the glass, I like to add a little more pepper on top, as decoration.
NOTE: If you want to show off with this cocktail in a family reunion or with friends, do not skimp on the quality of the tomato juice or vodka, as it will greatly improve our cocktail to use good ingredients.
