This appetizer comes from pre-Hispanic gastronomy. It has been cultivated in Mexico for more than 9,000 years. When it arrived in the United States, its popularity grew enormously thanks to the popcorn popper, invented in 1885.
From then until today, this snack has accompanied us in all our movie sessions. For this reason, it deserves at least one day on the calendar.

It is believed that the origin of this celebration may have been related to the Super Bowl. They were one of the most popular snacks at the games. And the Super Bowl is a very important event in the United States, bringing together millions of people.
