Coffee is one of the most consumed beverages in the world. And many times we all need a good cup to start the day. This stimulating beverage is the necessary gasoline for many of us. But, besides being a great ally, it is a delight if it is prepared correctly. A whole world revolves around it, with the most luxurious products only suitable for the most sybaritic palates. Therefore, such a popular and appreciated beverage could not be without its own day on the calendar. That’s why every October 1st is celebrated as Coffee Day, so would you like to join us in celebrating it?
At breakfast, after lunch, at snack, or even at dinner. Hot, cold or from time to time. With milk or alone. It doesn’t matter how, when and how much you drink it. Coffee is a great drink that has many followers. This drink, which is obtained from the fruit of the coffee tree, has become a great ally for many since it was discovered in the 11th century in Ethiopia.
A drink that helps our body to burn fat, as it accelerates our metabolism, while it provides us with a multitude of nutrients, antioxidants…
As we mentioned, every October 1st is celebrated as International Coffee Day. The objective was to pay tribute to this wonderful drink, one of the most consumed in the world (only behind water).
This date was established in 2015, when the first International Coffee Day was celebrated. And it was created by the International Coffee Organization, in Milan. Soon, the date would become international.
Although previously, in the year 1983, a similar event was promoted in Japan, October 1 curdled as coffee day worldwide.
In addition to paying tribute to this beverage and celebrating it, this date has the mission of making visible the precarious conditions of coffee growers. At the same time, it raises awareness to promote fair trade that benefits everyone.
To celebrate International Coffee Day, different events take place all over the world. Many stores offer discounts or free this drink; or celebrate different events to popularize, even more, this beverage.
If you also want to celebrate this day, here are some tips to prepare it in an Italian coffee maker.
And with this we say goodbye for today. Remember to celebrate International Coffee Day with a good cup of this beverage, or using it as the main ingredient in a recipe. Remember to leave us your comments, ideas, opinions? We love to read them!
